Indian Rupee censored, release on Oct 6

August Cinemas Prithviraj’s Ranjith directed Indian Rupee has been censored and passed with a clean ‘U’ certificate by Thiruvananthapuram censors.

The film has Prithviraj, Thilakan and Rima Kallingal in important roles.
Indian Rupee is a very important film for Prithviraj as his last Onam release Teja Bhai & Family was a failure. Prithviraj requires a solo hit to establish that he is once again a saleable star at the
box-office.
Ranjith’s Indian Rupee should deliver the goods for Prithvi, as it carries very good pre-release reports and is said to be a “well-made entertainer, which will make you think.”
August Cinema is releasing Indian Rupee in 70 screens on Vijayadasmi day, Thursday (October 6).
