Just weeks ago everyone was all taken with sexy Russian spy Anna Chapman. Even though that gorgeous Russian was banished back to Russia, she was immortalized in American folk-lore by having a action-figure made in her likeness. You have the love the U.S.A., Capitalism and American ingenuity! Well, move over Anna Chapman, we now have Anna Fermanova! She is the newest sexy Russian spy to be taken into custody in the U.S. The 24-year-old is accused of smuggling military technology to Moscow. She also has a belly-button ring, an American cosmetology license and pictures of herself in bikinis all over her facebook page.
According to The Smoking Gun, Anna Fermanova is under house arrest in Texas awaiting trial. She will be tried for ‘knowingly and intentionally’ exporting contraband weapons-grade night-vision scopes to Moscow. She says she was not spying and sent the night-vision scopes to Moscow for big game hunters. Her Plano, Texas attorney says she’s quite sexy, but not a spy. Now what does one of those things have to do with the other? The advanced rifle sights were found by Federal agents stuffed in a pair of Ugg boots in Fermanova’s luggage at JFK International Airport on March 1, 2010. The scopes were confiscated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and Ms. Fermanova was allowed to continue her trip to Moscow. She lives in Moscow with her husband and teaches English there. She was arrested on July 15, 2010 when she returned to the United States to visit relatives in Texas.
Anna Fermanova is 24-years-old, 5′6″ and has a belly-button ring. On her Facebook pages tells us she likes ’slutty Halloween costumes’ and pointing at the camera when she’s drunk. The Smoking Gun has her booking papers with a lot more information about her and the charges against her. So what is with all the low-level Russian spies being taken into custody lately. We’ve always known there were Russian spies in the U.S and, dare I write it, there are undoubtedly American spies in Russia. The last group of spies, that included Anna Chapman, had been under surveillance for 10-years. Then all of the sudden they were taken into custody and deported to a heroes welcome in Russia. Now we have this 24-year-old in Texas.
Is this PR for the Obama Administration? Is it some kind of behind-the-scenes deal with Russia? Why are we taking into custody and deporting these low-level operatives when there are big fish to fry out there? Why stop a 10-year investigation by arresting the underlings and deporting them, ending any hope of finding out who they were answering to or getting to their commanders. Undoubtedly, Russia will make a deal to get Anna Fermanova back to Russia as they did the other group of spies a few weeks ago. The reasoning behind these operations is puzzling. I think there’s more to the stories.
