Vanessa Hudgens in new nude photo scandal


Actress Vanessa Hudgens finds herself in another photo scandal as a new round of nude pictures of the Disney "High School Musical" star have surfaced.

In the latest set of photos to surface, the 20-year-old actress reportedly is posing topless.

According to PerezHilton.com, who had posted the photos Wednesday, Hudgens' lawyers demanded the images be removed because the actress was only 17 years old when she took them of herself with a camera phone.

The latest photo scandal is the second the "High School Musical" star has had to face.In 2007, photos of a nude Hudgens surfaced on the Web, forcing her to acknowledge the incident."I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me," she said at the time. "I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos."While the latest pictures are new to the Web, they are believed to have been taken before the first scandal occurred in 2007, EOnline.com reports.Hudgens, who will strip down to play a hooker in the Zack Snyder film, "Sucker Punch," according to a report in the U.K. Metro, is expected to attend the premiere of her new movie, "Bandslam," in Los Angeles tonight.

Now the scandal is threatening to destroy the "High School Musical" phenomenon sweeping America, Enquirer reports. The Enquirer reports that it has learned that a third party has obtained the sexy pictures that were meant just for Vanessa and Zac. "Vanessa's only 18, so she had no idea how her flirtatious act could threaten the future of the multimillion-dollar plans Disney has for the show," said the source. "She just wanted to keep Zac interested."
But the brunette beauty's naughty photos could throw Disney's massive marketing and production plans into complete turmoil.
"It's a kids' show, aimed a children, teenagers and their parents and starring a bunch of cute, wholesome youngsters," said a show insider. "Naked pictures of one of the stars would be catastrophic. "It could bring the whole 'High School Musical' franchise to its knees."

Actor Murali, national award winner, dies

Noted South Indian actor and national award winner Murali (55) died at a private hospital here on Thursday night. The character actor, who had been closely associated with pro-Left cultural and intellectual movements in the state for the past three decades, had unsuccessfully contested as the CPM candidate from Alappuzha Lok Sabha constituency in 1999.On returning from an overseas location of a Tamil movie two days back, Murali was admitted to the hospital with fever. The death was due to multiple organ failure, said the hospital sources.The seasoned theatre personality, active in commercial and parallel film streams alike, had been functioning as the chairman of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi since the Left government assumed office in 2006. He had been one of the founder-directors of the CPM-promoted Kairali TV.Murali won the state award for the best actor thrice and the national award in 2001 for his performance in Malayalam movie Naithukaran. He acted in more than 200 films in south Indian languages, apart from dabbling in Hindi too.

Malayalam film industry lost yet another of its stalwarts when actor Murali passed away at a hospital in the city on Thursday after a brief illness. He was 55.

Murali Murali had won the national award for best actor in 2001 for his performance in the film ‘Neythukaran’ directed by Priyanandanan. Some of his memorable performances were seen in ‘Amaram’, ‘Aadharam’, and ‘Panchagni’. He won state awards for his performances in ‘Amaram’ and ‘Aadharam’. Murali debuted into films from theatre and was part of the progressive theatre movement. A CPM member, he had contested the 1999 Lok Sabha elections from Alappuzha unsuccessfully. He was chairman of the Kerala Sangeetha Natak Academy at the time of his death. An acute diabetic, Murali was hospitalised in a serious condition on Wednesday evening. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
