Ramya Nambesan says that she is waiting for glamour roles

Ramya Nambesan while interacting with the media said,” I have acted in family roles in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. I never selected these roles.

It came on itself. Because of this there is news that I am not willing to do glamour roles. I am also ready to act in glamour roles provided I get a good story and character. I like to act in pucca colorful commercial Tamil film.

We can also act like the heroes. I increased my weight by 5 kgs for doing a village girl role. After completing this film I reduced by weight by 2 kgs. If you have the right diet and proper exercise, your body will listen to you.”

I will cherish compliment from Balachander forever : Asin

I will cherish compliment from Balachander forever : Asin
Winning awards and accolades is every actor's dream. But there comes a point when they cherish moments more than mementoes. Such is the case with Asin, who shot to the top with her well-appreciated Bollywood debut in Ghajini and is now looking ahead to London Dreams. She's received a lot of praise here as well as down South, but the actress says the one moment she cherishes most came when her mentor lauded her at a gathering.

"I used to do a lot of print ads in the South. Director K. Balachander has been a mentor and guru to stalwarts like Rajnikant, Kamal Haasan, Sridevi and Prakash Raj. He's worked with such big stars but he was the one to give me a break in commercials too. He wanted to launch me in films as well, but someone beat him to it. His wife would often see me on television and say: Here's your Asin. After the success of Ghajini, at a function in the South, Balachander went on stage and the first thing he did was compliment and appreciate me in front of a large audience. I was stunned and didn't know how to react. It was a huge moment and I will cherish it forever," Asin says.

Her tender age belies a wealth of experience. Few know Asin began working at the age of 14. "I did my first movie when I was just 15. I was too young to know what I wanted to do. Like every teenager, some idea gets stuck in your head and you continue with it. Aamir Khan also noticed me in my films and that's how I am here n Bollywood. I hope I continue to cherish many more such moments in my life," she says.

Why am I being targeted: Asin

Just one film old in Bollywood, Asin Thottumkal has had more than her share of controversies. The miffed actress, who is a superstar down south,

onders why “people are togather her.

“Please tell me why people are targeting me? I don’t know why everybody is trying to give me a hard time. I am a newcomer, what have I done (in Bollywood)?” asked an exasperated Asin . “I am clueless why people are just interested in creating stories which are not true about me. I haven’t figured that out,” she added.

“Apparently a lot of rubbish has been written about me and most of my interviews are wasted clarifying those,” Asin told IANS in a telephonic interview from Mumbai.

The 23-year-old made her Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in the hit psychological action thriller “Ghajini” last year and became an overnight sensation.

She has, however, been caught up in a string of rumours — a recent one being that the actress refused a role in Farah Khan’s next directorial venture, “Happy New Year”, opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

“It was just a fabricated story. The publication retracted it in the very next issue and came out with an apology the very next day. Farah and I are friends. I am really very fond of her as she is of me. That’s about it. We haven’t talked about working together in a movie at all,” Asin said, slamming the gossip.

“It was just a figment of somebody’s imagination. Farah has just started working on the script. Obviously, she hasn’t reached casting stage,” she added.

There have been a controversy about Asin and her “London Dreams” co-star Salman Khan. The first rumour that appeared was that she was at loggerheads with Salman’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

It was reported that Katrina got upset when she heard that her beau was helping Asin find a house in Mumbai.

“I don’t even know Katrina, for god’s sake! I have worked with Salman in one film and my relationship with him has been friendly, professional. Nothing more or less than that,” she asserted.

“I don’t know why people link actors who work together?”

Then came news that her father allegedly had a disliking for Salman. “What rubbish? They get along like a house on fire and are very buddy buddy with each other. They gang up against me and pull my leg. In fact, I am the odd one out when they are together. They are such good friends that despite his busy schedule, Salman painted a portrait of my dad, signed it and gifted it to him. That’s the rapport they share. I really don’t know where these stories are coming from,” she said.

And what about her seasoned co-stars reportedly insisting that she ask her father not to accompany her on the sets of her movies?

“It’s not that my father’s forever hanging around on the sets. For one of the foreign schedules, he did accompany me, but that was about it. I don’t know why people tend to make out this whole big hullabaloo about bringing my dad. It’s completely fabricated nonsense,” she said.

“Poor thing, he is sitting at home, minding his own business. I don’t know why he has to be dragged into controversies. It is quite annoying when somebody writes about your parents. Please leave my father out of all this.

“I am the only person in the limelight. If anybody wants to write anything true or false, write about me. But don’t drag my parents into it. It’s really not appreciated,” she said.

Releasing Oct 30, “London Dreams” has been produced and directed by Vipul Shah and also stars Ajay Devgn.

It was bound to happen sooner or later, right? With plastic surgery becoming more and more popular, enhanced babes yearned for a chance to show off their improvements. And so, Miss Plastic Beauty Contest was born. Miss Plastic, the world’s first “plastic” beauty contest, takes place in Hungary and any woman aged between 19 and 38 can participate. As long as she is a resident of Hungary and, more importantly, has at least one cosmetic surgery in her medical history. A boob job or facelift will do just fine.

Instead of focusing on looks, the judges pay a lot more attention to the sugeons’ work on the contestants. Sona goes in search of her relatives

Sona goes in search of her relatives Sona who is well known for her glamour roles is also a good dancer and a business woman. Apart from all these things she is a very affectionate girl.

For example, she recently went to Australia in search of her relatives. Since Sona is an Anglo Indian, most of her close relatives including grand father and grand mother are settled in Australia. So Sona wanted to see them.

She took the next flight to Australia. She met her relatives and spent a few a days with them. She had also visited the museum, spooky studio and sexy pubs in Australia.

When asked her whether she had gone to Australia to slim down, she got angry and said,” Why should I travel that far to reduce my weight? I have got my own gym in my house. If I exercise for one month regularly I can lose my weight easily.
But my fans like me to look like this. So I have decided to be fluffy. Photos of Hollywood actresses were displayed in a bar in Australia. I was surprised to see my photo also displayed among them.”

Aadhavan Movie Review

Aadhavan Movie Review
Aadhavan the most expected movie of this season is finally out with more expectation. The movie is likely to be the hat trick hit for Actor Suriya but there is a question rising on our minds that this movie would be the stop for Surya’s hit list???

The movie story is all about a serial killer (Suriya) Gun Shooter who assigned to kill a magistrate (Murali) who yet to disclose the list of baddies involved in the illegal activities of transplanting the organs of poor children’s. Whether the serial killer accomplishes his task or whether he turns against the baddies forms the rest of the movie. Those who watched the Tamil movies often its easy to guess the remaining story as it script clearly evidenced in number of occasions in the Tamil cinemas previously.Actor Suriya with hits like “Vaaranam Aayiram” and “Ayan” looking to make an impact with B and C class audiences with Aadhavan but it fails in the end. Surya does his part well in the entire movie. Suriya is a director’s actor as whatever the situation compels for the movie he will do it perfect on screen. As a K.S.Ravikumar standards actor Suriya’s role can be said better than in this movie.

Hot Sexy Actress Nayanthara is shown in a new manner and avoided showing her skin more to survive on the top list of Kollywood but the time to admire youth has gone to some other new actresses. Vadivelu comedy track is giving hand to the script. Late Malayalam actor Murali last encounter turns to a memorable outing for him.

Music Composer Harris Jayaraj doesn’t give his best in Aadhavan as all the songs are repeatedly hear by Music lovers in his previous flicks. Actor Suriya costumes for songs shown his stylish looks but however tried to adopt similar dance steps in the entire songs. The movie is somewhat technically high but doesn’t help in for a lag script.

However, Aadhavan has the common commercial elements but up to an extent. With new decision made by producer’s council the cine lovers are compelled to watch any movies on theatres but spending your valuable bucks it will hurt while watching. As the movie is hit on all the big screens it will heap collections and also continuous promos on TV’s it will be a strong contender for other Diwali movies.

Aadhavan “Unsuitable for Suriya Standards”
