Nicola McLean goes from drab to fab as she celebrates baby shower with pals Peter Andre and Chantelle Houghton

Nicola McLean showed she had no intention of fading into the background at her baby shower today.The glamour model, who is seven months pregnant, decided to accessorise her huge baby bump with a diamante-studded t-shirt and opted for curly hair and stacks of makeup to complete the look.
Earlier in the day the 28-year-old had arrived at London's May Fair Hotel wearing a decidedly-less glamorous outfit of black t-shirt and brown cardigan.

But it seems the dressed-down star chose to go for a bit of bling to compete with pals Peter Andre and Chantelle Houghton, who also attended the event.

Nicola's close friend Chantelle looked sleek in a tight pair of black trousers and a striped cropped jumper, complete with the obligatory sky-high heels, as she helped the model carry her numerous presents out of the hotel.

An odd addition to the event was Peter Andre, who attended the shower - traditionally held by women only - with his two-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii.
While Andre's presence is likely to spark more rumours of a romance between him and Chantelle, the more likely reason is that the trio share the same agent.
Wrapped up against the bitter cold, Princess looked cute in a deerstalker hat as she arrived at the hotel with her trendy dad, before the pair later left clutching a huge Mickey Mouse stuffed toy.

But Peter and Princess weren't the only people to leave the event with gifts.
Nicola received so many presents from well-wishers that she had to use a bellboy trolley to transport all the gifts to her car.

Nicola is already mother to four-year-old Rocky with footballer husband Tom Williams, with whom she lives in Peterborough.

She stars in her own reality show with her family, Nicola McLean: Studs & Stilettos, which is broadcast on ITV2.

Nicola and Tom married last year on Living TV show Four Weddings, a show which pitched four rival brides against each other for the chance to win a dream honeymoon.
