Who brought their mum? Madonna, 51, goes clubbing with Jesus Luz, 23, and his pals

She's been hitting the clubs since her Studio 54 days in New York  in the Seventies. So Madonna could be forgiven for wanting to put her feet up these days with a cup of cocoa.
But the mother of four obviously feels there is still enough petrol in the tank to party. And who better to hit the dance floor with in Rio De Janeiro last night than toyboy lover Jesus Luz?
Unfortunately, the singer looked more like a reluctant mum dragged along to a frat party as she watched Jesus, 23, strip to the waist and dance in the sweaty venue with  his friends.

Let's go dancing: Madonna and Jesus Luz went to the Circus nightclub in Rio De Janeiro last night

Taking a back seat: The singer appeared to be one of the oldest people in the venue, with most of the patrons more than half her age

While Jesus got into the groove, Madge stuck to the sidelines, leaving the dancing to the much younger club-goers.
That was hardly surprising. After all, she was more than double the age of the average clubgoer at the Circus Nightclub and at times appeared a little sleepy and withdrawn.
After getting their music fix, the couple were escorted to a waiting car and driven back to their hotel.

Last week it was reported Jesus had dumped Madonna because they had nothing in common.

Sweaty: Jesus and his friends stripped to the waist and rehydrated with water
It's getting hot in here: The Brazilian model threw some dance moves, but Madonna played spectator and remained seated

But after her arrival in Rio for the carnival earlier this week, she reunited with the Brazilian model over an Italian dinner on Tuesday night.
Earlier yesterday, Madonna did some charity work and spent an hour talking about helping Brazil's poor children with a man who could become the country's next president.
Sao Paulo state Governor Jose Serra, who is considered a likely entrant in the 2010 campaign to succeed Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, came away impressed with her youthful vitality.

Time to go: The pair were later escorted to their car and went back to the hotel

Back on: Earlier they were spotted leaving a restaurant and looked happy together despite reports last week Jesus had dumped the singer
The singer posed for photographers as Serra wrapped an arm around her, but didn't respond to questions about their meeting.

Serra said Madonna expressed a desire to help needy young Brazilians after she toured a Sao Paulo centre that helps children.
He seemed most impressed by Madonna's youthfulness, saying: 'She seems very young, much less than her (age).'
