Japanese Idol - Eiko Koike
Eiko Koike was born on November 20, 1980 in Tokyo, Japan.
Not only is this young lady beautiful, but she knows how to have fun.
Her husband, Wataru Sakata, is a Japanese pro wrestler and mixed martial arts fighter. Well Eiko has worked with PRIDE as a spokesperson and commentator. She got into the matches so much that when MMA champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira lost his title to Fedor Emelianenko, she teared up and began to cry.
Wataru then moved from PRIDE to the Japanese wrestling promotion HUSTLE and Eiko followed.
To understand HUSTLE, think the WWE not even trying to take itself seriously.
Case in point, Eiko was called Yosei (Fairy in Japanese) and she accompanied her husband to the ring. Wataru was facing a "unstoppable wrestling cyborg" called The Esperanza.
Wataru won the match when Yosei (Eiko) managed to deflect one of Esperanza's "Spirit Gun Bolts" back at him.
You can't make this stuff up.
Eiko has been in several Japanese films, including 2LDK, which was released on video here in the US.
Eiko was in a movie in Japan in 2008 called "Pako to mahô no ehon". She played the character Masami.
Eiko is in the Japanese TV series "Kiina: Fukanô hanzai sôsakan" this year.
She also is in 20-seiki shônen: Dai 2 shô - Saigo no kibô as Takasu and she has another movie coming out called Ningen shikkaku coming out in 2010.
UPDATE:
Eiko is staying very busy in 2010 with appearances in films like Ranbô to taiki, Pâmamento Nobara and The Fallen Angel.
She's also appearing in TV shows like GM: Odore dokutâ, Neo the Office Chuckler and Shukumei 1969-2010: Once Upon a Time in Tokyo.
